Boating is fun, we’ll show you how.
Welcome to the Thurmond Lake Sail and Power Squadron, chartered in the year 2000, a unit in District 26 of the United States Power Squadron. Our mission includes the promotion of boating safety, boating education, civic service and the enjoyment of boating activities and social functions among our membership.
Becoming a member of the Thurmond Lake Sail & Power Squadron is very easy. First you might want to attend a function to see what we are all about. Contact any member to be included in an event or to secure an application. Dues are $85.50 a year for a single or $127.50 a year for a couple. The first year of membership will be assessed a $20 one-time fee. There is an introductory boating class offered for the fee of the book or free to members. This class is easy, fun, and provides knowledge for safety on the water. Taking this class is optional to become a full member. Elected officers must have completed the first two educational courses—America’s Boating Course and Seamanship.
If you are interested in joining TLS&PS contact Mary Klosterman at email: firstname.lastname@example.org or any squadron member and they will be glad to assist you.
